Junior Volunteer
Develop Leadership Skills
Students age 12 -17 years old will learn fundamental volunteer skills such as safety, teamwork, communication, empathy and leadership.
Spend time with Horses
Junior Volunteers will be able to spend time in the company of horses, connecting with them, helping with chores, and assisting with our summer/winter activities.
Adult Volunteer
Learn about Horses
Volunteers, age 18 +, will learn fundamental skills such as safety around the horses, how to communicate with horses and how to care for them. They will also learn what horses, as God’s creation, teach us about God himself.
Connect with Horses
Volunteers will be able to spend time in the company of horses, connecting with them, helping with chores, and assisting with our summer/winter activities. Experienced adult volunteers will be able to “drop in” to connect with their favourite horses as long as one of the owners is on site.
100 Hours Achievement Certificate
Volunteers who log 100 hours assisting at Back of Beyond will receive their 100 Hour Achievement Certificate.
