Exploring the maple forest by horse drawn wagon is time well spent and a terrific experience for couples or the whole family. As you ride through the bush, you will feel as if you have gone back in time to the tradition of the early settlers. Along the way you can see some old-fashioned maple syrup buckets on the trees and if you are lucky the sap will be running.
Your wagon ride ends at a campfire where you can sip hot chocolate (with a dash of real maple syrup in it if you like) and roast marshmallows. Finish off your experience by visiting the 13 resident horses and ponies, most of them rescued or retired. Every horse from cute little Muffin to massive Big Eddie, looks forward to meeting people and has a special story to share.
Take home of a picture of your favourite horse to remind you of this fun-filled adventure. Wagon ride, campfire and farm tour combined are approximately 1 hour. Wagon ride itself is approx. 30 minutes.
