Discover the real meaning of Easter on the trails at Back of Beyond.

You’ll set off on your walk, with a booklet in hand to guide you, to follow at your own pace the woodland trails through the forest. As you hike from station to station you will gain an understanding of and appreciation for the last few days of Jesus life. Each station relates to the story of the passion of Jesus throughout His last hours and describes by words and through observing nature the gospel message. Don’t be surprised if your heart is touched, your eyes are opened and your life is transformed.

The trail takes about 30 minutes, but all are welcome to take their time and enjoy themselves. The walk is free of charge and open to individuals of all ages. So, bring your family, your friends, your neighbours and together discover the Greatest Story of Hope ever told.

Mother Teresa once said: “Remember that the Passion of Christ ends always in
the joy of the Resurrection of Christ, so when you feel in your own heart the suffering of Christ, remember the Resurrection has to come — the joy of Easter has to dawn. Never let anything so fill you with sorrow as to make you forget the joy of the Risen Christ.”
