Natural Horsemanship

Horses as Teachers

Horses are prey-based, intuitive beings that have the unique ability to magnify and mirror subtle human actions and emotions. Equine respect, trust and focus can only be earned by individuals engaging in collaborative interactions with the horse, developing clear communication and boundaries.

Interactive Learning

Participants will learn about safety, build confidence, and grow their understanding as they interact with the horses to build bonds of mutual respect and trust.

horses... the natural connection

As a prey animal, horses are especially in tune with and aware of subtle human (predator) body language and intentions and reflect these in their actions – always assessing what individuals motivations and intentions are. Horses give immediate and honest feedback to their environment. A change in our attitude (which leads to a change in body language) has a profound effect on a horse’s behaviour.
